The UH Cullen College Department of Biomedical Engineering recently hosted the Sri Lankan delegate led by the Ambassador for Science, Technology, and Innovation for the Government of Sri Lanka, Dr B. Wijay, MD and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jayawardenapura, Sr. Prof. S. Amaratunge.
Leadership from the UH BME department partook in a productive discussion regarding plans for the inception of a new and unique BME department at the University of Jayawardenapura. The Cullen College expressed its strong commitment to collaborate with the University of Jayawardenapura regarding the success of their research and educational programs, and looks forward to future joint efforts.
