"I will be joining Professor Kirill Larin's Biomedical Optics Lab as a PhD student, where I'll work on optical techniques that use light to image tissue and measure its mechanical properties. I'm drawn to the optical hardware design and to the signal processing that turns raw light measurements into something physically meaningful, reconstructing images while accounting for light scattering. My long-term goal is to push these techniques toward clinical applications."
