"My graduate research at the University of Houston focuses on multimodal signal processing that includes Electroencephalography (EEG) and Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS), functional neuroimaging and brain-computer interface (BCI) applications. Specifically, I work on developing and validating wearable high-density EEG-fNIRS systems, real-time biosignal acquisition tools, signal processing frameworks and advanced statistical modelling for analyzing neural and physiological data. My research also involves EEG-informed fNIRS modeling, multimodal data fusion, multimodal brain connectivity analysis and machine learning/deep learning approaches to improve the interpretation of brain activity in clinical and cognitive neuroscience applications."
