"I will be investigating the presence and biological impact of microplastics in human tissues, particularly the kidney. I am interested in exploring advanced techniques for detecting and characterizing microplastics within biological samples, using molecular approaches. In parallel, I aim to study how microplastic exposure influences immune cell behavior, with an emphasis on understanding changes in immune activation, polarization, and inflammatory responses."
