"My research interests center around biomedical engineering, neural engineering, neurotechnology, human systems integration, stroke rehabilitation, and bioastronautics. I am particularly interested in brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), EEG-based monitoring systems, adaptive rehabilitation technologies, neurotechnology-assisted stroke recovery, and human-machine interaction within both clinical and aerospace-related environments. My long-term goals involve studying how cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and physiological factors influence human performance, rehabilitation outcomes, adaptation, decision-making, and resilience in high-pressure environments such as spaceflight and other extreme operational settings. I am especially interested in understanding how psychological factors such as cognitive workload, stress adaptation, situational awareness, motivation, rehabilitation adherence, and behavioral responses interact with advanced technologies and engineered systems. Through interdisciplinary research combining neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, and human-centered design, I hope to contribute to the development of technologies that improve stroke rehabilitation outcomes, astronaut health and performance, neural adaptation, and the safety and effectiveness of complex human-machine systems."
