Abstract
This presentation will discuss applications of MRI for research purposes. Examples include visualizing and quantifying brain activation and brain connectivity as well was blood flow measurements. Most discussed projects have been performed at the Translational Imaging Center of the Houston Methodist Hospital. This center has been renovated recently and now includes the first FDA-approved 7 Tesla MRI scanner in Texas.
